Romwo Roselli Interview

Romeo Roselli

First of all I want to say thank you for answering our questions Romeo. This interview is divided in two parts: First are my questions and second Luis’s questions, a partner from other website from Spain.

--Rafa Insunza's Questions--

- Why did you decide to start to train for being a pro wrestler?

I was always a fan of wrestling as a kid, and found it so fascinating. Once I started to get into fitness and working out, I realized that it wasn't something that I just wanted to watch on tv, it was something that I wanted to actually do!

- Since your debut , which was your best moment or match? And the worst?

I've had so many great moments and memories. And just like in any other job and profession, there have been some not so great moments. I always remember my times with WWE as great moments: Wrestling at Madison Square Garden, appearing on a Pay-Per-View, and getting the opportunity to travel. I also have fond memories of my wrestling tours of Italy, working for NWE, and getting an opportunity to wrestle in a country where my family stems its roots.

As far as worst goes, sometimes working in front of small, independent crowds where you have to get changed in little grungy bathrooms and things of that sort is something that I wouldn't mind forgetting.

- Until your arrive to WWE you were in the independent circuit, what can you tell us about this world?

It has its up and downs. As a wrestler, you just need the experience, so the independent circuit will provide this.

- You had many trainers in your begginings, who was your favourite one? Why?

I've had so many great trainers in the past. The one who truly stands out in my mind is Dr. Tom Pritchard. He was such an excellent trainer and always willing to help me, I cant say enough good things about him and what he did for my career.

- Did you like your role in WWE or did you want another paper when you were in the company?

Working for and being under a WWE contract was a dream come true. Do I wish things turned out differently, sometimes, but I also believe that everything happens for a reason.

- About NWE, do you like the work of this promotion to increase the level of European Wrestling? We remember that you were World Heavyweight Champion for this company.

Yes, it was amazing to work for NWE, and I appreciate them giving me an opportunity to wrestle for them and to represent them as champion.

- You had only one match for TNA. Did you think you were in the company for more time or you knew that it was only this match?

I was aware going on that it was only for one match. It was a good experience working for them and to be able to perform live on pay per view with one of the greatest tag teams of my era.

--DJ Cloud's Questions--

- You had a cameo in The Wrestler. What do you think about the film?

I thought it was very well acted, and I am proud to be in the film. It doesnt excatly depict professional wrestling in the best light, and hopefully people who watch the movie understand that not every wrestler turns out like Mickey Rourke's character.

- You've been in a show for Queen of Chaos in France. Famous one for the big attendance of 72.000 people. Was it really so big? How do you felt wrestling in front of so many people?

Yes, there were 72,000 people! It was huge! It was one of the biggest thrills of my life, and it is something that not a lot of athletes can say, that they performed in front that many people.

- You're Wrestler and Personal Trainer. How many hours a week are you in a gym?

Between training myself and training my clients, I am involved in fitness daily anywhere between 5-12 hours a day.

- You have some Acting and Modeling career too. It's still some rejection in those business to contract Wrestlers?

Yes, of course there is rejection. The entertainment business is very competitive and cutthroat. You just need to have thick skin and perseverence and keep working hard.

- What do you think is your best Match ever? And from all times and Wrestlers, What's your favorite Match?

I've had so many great matches and moments, many with the WWE and NWE, it is very hard to put my finger on my favorite match.

--Joint Conclussion--

- Thanks so much for your time an for answering our questions. Would you want to say something for Spanish fans, especially Pressingcatch.org & Pressing-catch.com users?

Thank you everyone for your support, and I look forward to everyone having an opportunity to see me perform, whether in wrestling or acting, for a very long time to come. The best is yet to come.
